Fibre traffic issue

i think your line and converters are perfectly ok. the problem is that the protocols (physical and data link layer, may be FDDI or FTTH) are not properly set at two locations. Perfect protocol match in two locations may be helpful to you.

Did the previous network configuration (prior to installing the media converters) allow the saving of the files? Can the user first save the file to the local computer, then save it to the remote location?
