I can guarantee you that the spatialNET product is a great choice for managing any and all fiber networks as well as an excellent engineering and designing application

For folks who are looking for fiber management software, please call Pete Accetturo at Infrax, Inc., # 727-498-8514 and chose option 1 for domestic sales. Their OptiCon Network Manager is an excellent GIS based fiber management system keeps track of all the fiber inventory - in the ground, on the poles, splice points, access points, terminations etc.

I agree with baileyshbr. You should take a look at Spatialinfo
http://www.spatialinfo.com
. In addition you might give them a call as they will personalize their software to meet client needs.

M4 Solutions
, developed by
Mapcom Systems
, is a map-based Geographical Operations System (GOS) software suite allowing telecommunications providers to enhance their information flow by displaying data in geographic view. M4?s open-system approach enables you to integrate and correlate data from existing billing, accounting, GPS tracking and network monitoring applications with a geographically-correct land base map of all network elements.

I can highly recommend AND software for fiber management. It's a fast efficient drag&drop approach so no tables to fill out. Splicing& patching is child's play with a high level of visibility. Signal tracing, breakage location, optical budget calculation, microduct support, and much more.
AND is Europe's leading product for fiber design & documentation for HFC, FTTx and RFoG networks. All sizes of operrators are catered for with a choice of stand-alone to database solutions. Major references include Kabel Deutschland (16 million HP documented in AND), YouSee (DK) and Welho (FI).
Trial software is available at www.and-solution.com
