Unfortunately, most splicer manufacturers have the recipe for splicing these two fibers together or contact Corning. Corning often has engineers work on these recipes so they can implement their fiber into legacy systems. Websites are a good resource www.corning.com then call their technical service - these folks are pretty sharp.

Hello All,

New to the forum, and this is my first post.

I'm looking for a recipe for splicing (Corning) Flex-1060 fiber to Hi-980 fiber using an Ericsson 995 FA. I have sucessful programs for this splice running on a Fitel s182, and s183, but need to get this splice running properly on the Ericssons. If anyone has a working recipe out there, and would be willing to share, it would be most welcome!

Thanks for taking the time to read.
