I instatlled a Point to Point fibre between 2 locations and installed converters at both ends ( Tyco , 100mbps) . The users have no problems with accessing files but when they try to save the files after editing they are not able to do that, please what could be the issue. I've provided a link to one particular manufacturer.

Omnitron Systems
http://www.omnitron-systems.com/products/8920_1000_iconverter_gxtm2.php

This particular product will accept 10/100/1000Mb electrical inputs and convert to 1000Mb fiber (Singlemode or Multimode, depending on the required reach). But there are many products available.

Hope this helps!

Tom

RE: optical fiber memory

The links in your post are indicating multiple security threats.
